Florida Palms Academy is a special inpatient center that helps children ages 6–14 who are in grades K–8. It supports kids with emotional and behavioral challenges by combining mental health care and school in one safe place. The goal is to help each child grow, learn, and feel better about themselves in a caring and structured setting. Therapeutic Approach and Client Care Each child gets a personal plan to help them heal and succeed. They offer different types of therapy, including one-on-one, family, and group sessions. Kids also get help from doctors and counselors for mental health and medicine needs. While they heal, they also keep up with school through lessons from Broward County teachers. Safe Living Environment The center cares for up to 38 kids at a time in a secure and supportive setting. It provides 24-hour care, fun activities, and behavior support. Florida Palms Academy also works closely with families and community programs to help children smoothly move back home or into a less restrictive environment when they’re ready.
