This center treats substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Your treatment plan addresses each condition at once with personalized, compassionate care for comprehensive healing.

AKUA Mind and Body offers unique treatment programs that incorporates both traditional and Eastern medicine practices in gender-specific housing. At their University Drive, Costa Mesa location, they offer detox and residential treatment for men. A typical stay including detox is 30 days. During treatment, clients participate in both group and individual therapy as well as life coaching. Therapies can include mindfulness, meditation, life skills, yoga, music therapy, sound therapy, Tai Chi, relapse prevention, and nutrition. Aftercare is extremely important to AKUA, and they offer an aftercare alumni program. Clients receive consistent aftercare that can include weekly alumni meetings, social events, and access to an alumni app. The AKUA men's Orange County location offers home-like accommodations with a fenced in outdoor area, on-site gym, and on-site laundry. Clients enjoy nutritious meals prepared by local chefs, supporting holistic care. All residents have access to transportation services and 24/7 support during their stay.
