Arcadia Counseling offers therapy and counseling services with a person-centered humanistic approach, which focuses on clients' strengths and growth. Therapists help clients explore the meaning of life and discover purpose by examining their beliefs, values, and emotions. The center offers 1-on-1 counseling for children, teens, and adults, and also offer couples therapy where couples can identify patterns of communication, resolve conflict, and rebuild healthy intimacy. They offer tailored counseling for individuals with substance use disorders, using cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational therapy, and family therapy to identify underlying causes of addiction and develop coping strategies. Clients can also gain access to support groups and develop a relapse prevention plan through Arcadia Counseling. All therapists at Arcadia Counseling are trained to provide eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. This therapy helps individuals process traumatic memories and reduce symptoms of trauma. Clients can find a compassionate and safe space at Arcadia Counseling as they move towards emotional healing.
