About Begin Again
Begin Again Institute is a treatment center that offers intensive programs at varying lengths for men with pornography and sex addiction, as well as intimacy disorders. They provide residential treatment with their 14-day intensive program and a 28-day intensive program. They also offer disclosure coaching, which includes 8 weeks of coaching for men and their partners who have gone through treatment to engage in sobriety check-ins, set and understand boundaries, continue to heal the nervous system and couples counseling to repair the relationship. The facility also offers a unique partner support program that helps the spouse of the man in treatment deal with the pain of betrayal at no additional cost to the couple. For men who hold to the Christian faith, Begin Again offers a Christian-based 14-day program that can help men restore and solidify their relationship with God.
Begin Again uses a specific model to treat sex addictions called TINSA (trauma-induced sexual addiction). Rather than focusing on managing symptoms of sexual addiction, this method works to help identify and treat the core cause of addiction. This kind of therapy helps lift shame, which can help men make new choices and go into remission.
