Bi-Bett Addiction Treatment

Southern Solano Alcohol Council (SSAC) - Detox Program (Co-Ed) in Vallejo, California, offers inpatient detox services for adults with alcohol or drug problems. Run by Bi-Bett, a nonprofit since 1969, the program provides 24-hour care in a safe setting. Staff help clients manage withdrawal symptoms from alcohol, opioids, or benzodiazepines and prepare them for the next step in their recovery.
The detox stay usually lasts 3 to 8 days, depending on a person’s needs. Once stable, clients may move into short-term residential care, outpatient treatment, or a sober living environment. SSAC also helps connect people to transitional housing, halfway houses, or other recovery-focused homes to support their long-term success.
Each day includes regular health checks and support from trained staff. The setting is calm and structured to help clients feel safe during withdrawal. While this phase does not focus on therapy, it plays a key role in helping individuals stabilize and take the next step toward recovery.
