Focus

This center treats substance use disorders and mental health conditions. You'll receive individualized care catered to your unique situation and diagnosis, learn practical skills for recovery, and make new connections in a restorative environment.

The Buckeye Ranch in Grove City, Ohio, offers residential and outpatient care for children and teens, ages 9 to 17, with mental health or substance use challenges. Services include the Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP), the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF), and counseling provided in homes, schools, and local settings. Older teens can access life-skills programs, while family services help build stability and strengthen relationships. Treatment combines proven, personalized approaches to meet each youth’s needs. Therapy may include individual, group, and family sessions to build coping skills and emotional strength. After youth leave the program, follow-up services such as counseling and support groups help them stay on track and continue healing. Youth live in supervised campus housing with personal and shared spaces. The facility features locking units, cameras, and a 1:4 youth-to-staff ratio to ensure safety and structure. 6 PRTF beds serve youth needing intensive care. Youth receive daily meals, attend on-site school through Southwestern City Schools, and participate in recreational and therapeutic programs that promote social development, emotional growth, and healthy routines.
