About Caz Recovery Cazenovia Manor
Caz Recovery Cazenovia Manor is a residential, community-style living recovery facility for adult men struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Their location on Buffalo’s south side can serve up to 23 men and offers intensive rehabilitation services as well as reintegration services such as vocational counseling. They specialize in providing care for adult men who are chemically-dependent on drugs or alcohol and struggling or at-risk of homelessness.
Caz Recovery works individually with each client to determine their personal recovery goals and unique treatment needs. The length of each patient's stay varies from a couple of weeks to a couple of months or longer depending on the specific client's care plan. Part of the intensive substance abuse treatment allows clients to participate in individual and family therapy sessions and receive holistic and trauma-informed care. Services include daily life skills education, case management services, and relapse prevention planning, as the program promotes self-help and independence.
Cazenovia Manor is handicapped accessible and offers semi-private living spaces, on-site meals, a recreational area for organized group activities, and is conveniently located on a major bus-route with alternative transportation that may be provided. Their program is certified by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports, and is overseen by the Erie County Department of Mental Health. Eligible patients will be males 18 years and older, in need of intensive substance abuse treatment, and must be enrolled in a Medicaid Managed Care plan.
