This center treats substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Your treatment plan addresses each condition at once with personalized, compassionate care for comprehensive healing.
The Center for Prevention and Counseling in Sussex Countyhelps adults and adolescents with substance use, mental health, anger, and tobacco-related issues. Services are available in person or through Telehealth, with both outpatient (OP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) care. They use evidence-based therapies such as motivational interviewing, 12-step programs, individual and group counseling, psychoeducation, and family support. Each approach is tailored to the individual to build life skills and strengthen long-term recovery. Recovery Coaches, for people in long-term recovery, are offering guidance, hope, and real-world support. The Center also connects individuals to treatment providers, including medication assistance, and hosts peer recovery groups to keep people engaged in their treatment journey.
