Charles River Recovery provides detox, clinical stabilization services, and residential treatment for clients with addiction and dual-diagnoses. Their multidisciplinary team addresses substance use and mental health conditions with an initial assessment, medically supervised detox, and intensive clinical stabilization. Charles River Recovery strives to engrain research with clinical care, combining both to deliver integrative care all in one setting. Charles River Recovery offers medically supervised detox, with a clinical team monitoring symptoms and comfort levels 24/7. They provide medication-assisted treatment on an individual basis, prescribing non-addictive medications to help ease withdrawal symptoms and provide comfort. After detoxing from alcohol or other substances, clients move into a clinical stabilization service (CSS) and begin intensive therapies, wellness activities, and more. Charles River Recovery begins trauma-informed therapy after clients complete their medical detox. Their intensive group and individual therapy sessions help identify the past or current traumas that may cause addiction, and other mental health concerns or stressors. Charles River Recovery strives to support each client in their recovery, treating their unique stories and lives with the respect clients deserve. Clients at Charles River Recovery can experience a variety of holistic, wellness-focused therapies throughout their treatment. Charles River Recovery offers yoga, music therapy, art therapy, on-site fitness opportunities, and a theater room for quiet movie nights. Their pet program periodically welcomes friendly support animals like dogs, and occasionally, a duck. Charles River Recovery provides shared and private bedrooms.
