Focus

This center treats substance use disorders and mental health conditions. You'll receive individualized care catered to your unique situation and diagnosis, learn practical skills for recovery, and make new connections in a restorative environment.

Child and Family Service O'ahu, located in Ewa Beach, helps children, adolescents, adults, families, veterans and even older adults facing substance use and mental health challenges, especially those affected by domestic violence or sexual abuse. They provide outpatient and in-home care focused on trauma recovery in a safe, supportive environment tailored to each client’s needs. At Child & Family Service O'ahu, individual, group, and family counseling are combined with recreational activities like play therapy and outings to promote healing and growth. Life skills training helps clients develop coping strategies, improve relationships, and build confidence for lasting wellbeing. The center also offers specialized programs to support long-term family well-being. The Refugee Employment Program provides job preparation, counseling, and placement to help refugees achieve stability and self-sufficiency. There is also the free Mālama Ola program that supports expecting parents and families with children ages 0–3 through home visits, prenatal care, counseling, parenting support, and help with basic needs.
