Focus

At this center, you receive personalized care for mental health conditions. They provide therapy and tailor treatment to your unique needs, diagnoses, and preferences.

The RISE Program offers a highly supervised residential setting for youth ages 16 to 21 who have faced challenges in former living arrangements. Also known as Reaching Independence through Support and Experience, it is one of Children’s Home of York's three residential programs. RISE helps young people gain life skills, build independence, and prepare for adulthood or a return to family life by blending independent living services with elements of transitional housing, Guided by the Sanctuary model, the program begins with a Casey Life Skills Assessment to shape personalized service plans. Youth collaborate with staff and community providers to set and work toward their goals. Through structured routines, hands-on learning, and access to treatment and prevention services, residents gain the confidence and stability needed for long-term success. Residents live in a small, home-like group setting with 2:1 staff supervision. They earn level-based privileges, practice responsibilities like cooking and cleaning, and learn to manage their daily routines. This structured yet supportive environment mirrors aspects of transitional housing while offering a deeper level of care, helping youth thrive as capable, self-sufficient young adults.
