Community Medical Services (CMS) provides outpatient treatment for people with opioid use disorder (OUD). Expert providers at the Northwest Tucson clinic offer compassionate care, using evidence-based methods to support recovery. CMS’s goal is to help patients regain stability and improve their well-being through comprehensive treatment. Located in the Northwest Medical Center complex, the clinic is accessible by bus and car, with on-site parking available.
At the Northwest Tucson clinic, CMS offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with FDA-approved medications like Suboxone, Naltrexone, and Methadone to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal symptoms. Alongside MAT, patients receive individual and group counseling, where therapists use evidence-based approaches to help develop healthy coping strategies.
Peer support specialists—individuals with lived experience in recovery—offer guidance and understanding throughout the treatment process. By combining medical care, counseling, and peer support, CMS provides a well-rounded approach to opioid recovery.
