Casa Pacifica, located in Oceanside, California, offers a transitional residential program for adults aged 18 and older managing serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use conditions. To qualify, clients must have Medi-Cal and SSI, a representative payee, and a history of significant challenges with independent living. Casa Pacifica is a community-based, home-like setting that fosters recovery and the development of independent living skills. The comprehensive approach at Casa Pacifica includes behavioral health and psychiatric evaluations, medication management, daily group and individual counseling, nursing and psychiatric care, peer support, case management, and care coordination. Clients enjoy private rooms in a serene environment near the beach and public transportation. With an average 12-month stay, the program allows ample time for individuals to work toward recovery and independence.
