Located in Alpharetta, Georgia, Counterpoint offers day treatment and intensive outpatient (IOP), for men with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health concerns. Counterpoint combines a 12-Step approach with evidence-based therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI), as well as mindfulness and meditation, wellness practices, fitness routines, and life skills training. They seek to help men achieve long-term recovery, whether they are transitioning from inpatient treatment or just starting their recovery journey at Counterpoint. Counterpoint treats men who do not require medical supervision or medical-assisted detoxification and have a stable living environment. While Counterpoint specializes in treating individuals with a primary substance use disorder, they are also able to treat co-occurring disorders including depression, anxiety, and trauma-related diagnoses. With a focus on relapse-prevention and holistic care, Counterpoint aims to help men not only get sober, but to achieve long-term recovery.
