Focus

This center treats substance use disorders and mental health conditions. You'll receive individualized care catered to your unique situation and diagnosis, learn practical skills for recovery, and make new connections in a restorative environment.

D’Amore Mental Health treats a wide range of mental illnesses like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, personality disorders, chronic pain, substance use, and suicidal ideation, including dual diagnosis cases. They provide several levels of care—from crisis stabilization to residential, outpatient, and intensive outpatient programs. With a high staff-to-client ratio and deeply individualized support, they’re known for their compassionate, hands-on care. Their approach blends evidence‑based therapies, including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), experiential therapies like equine, art, and music therapy, group counseling, medication management, and crisis stabilization. Equine therapy helps clients build trust, patience, and self-awareness through guided interactions with horses. These calming, non-judgmental animals support emotional healing in a unique and powerful way. Clients live on‑site in a calm, structured residential setting where they receive 6–8 hours of group therapy and three individual sessions each week. They also have around‑the‑clock psychiatric care, regular medication checks, and follow‑up guidance. Clients are encouraged to stay for at least 45 days to build healthy routines, stronger social connections, and steady progress toward independent, confident living.
