Denver Springs offers Emergency Mental Health Services, Inpatient, Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs for those struggling with depression, anxiety, ptsd, bipolar disorder, suicidal ideation, borderline personality disorder and psychosis. Emergency mental health care adresses suicidal or homicidal impulses through a range of programs focusing on mental health stabilization. Inpatient and outpatient programs utilize a team of healthcare professionals who create an individualized care plan for each patient. Specific therapies include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, yoga, group therapy, family therapy, and wellness practices. For patients that need to keep a fixed work or home schedule, partial hospitalization is offered for two-four week long periods that meet five to six days a week. Intensive outpatient treatment meets three to five days a week and includes long-term recovery planning, skill development, as well as group and family therapy. Detox, Inpatient, Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization, and Intensive Outpatient Programs are offered for those struggling with substance abuse disorders. During detox, a team of healthcare professionals closely monitors withdrawal responses. Therapy begins in detox, and is continued throughout inpatient and outpatient treatment. Wellness practices, recreational activities, holistic therapies, and education programs are among some of the therapy options provided. Once treatment is completed, alumni support groups are offered such as meetings for Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous. Help for Heroes is a specialized program that provides treatment for active duty military, veterans, first responder, or high-risk frontline personnel that are struggling with mental health and substance abuse. Inpatient and outpatient treatment offers Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), expressive therapy, wellness education, uniform-specific treatment enhancements, and recreational therapy that is designed to treat trauma-related symptoms. The Child and Adolescent Program is designed for those aged 12-18 who are seeking inpatient and outpatient services for the following mental health disorders: depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, other mood disorders, and substance use disorder. Inpatient treatment provides 24-hour medical monitoring, therapeutic activities, educational elements, and group therapy. The partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient program utilize individual and group therapy, activity based therapy, and medication management.
