Located within the Watertown Regional Medical Center campus along Hospital Drive, just minutes from Highway 26, Directions Counseling Center provides accessible outpatient mental health services for adults, teenagers aged 14+, and seniors. The center offers individual, marriage, and family counseling, alcohol and drug counseling, and medication management. Appointments are available Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Directions Counseling tailors each treatment plan to the client’s unique needs, informed by clinical assessments and personal history. The center integrates evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), play therapy, supportive therapy, and relaxation techniques. Every plan is designed to help clients strengthen coping skills, achieve emotional stability, and navigate life challenges with greater confidence. A team of multidisciplinary mental health professionals provides integrated behavioral health care with a coordinated approach. Tailored services support both adults and adolescents, addressing stress, parenting challenges, and school-related concerns.
