Focus

This center primarily treats substance use disorders, helping you stabilize, create relapse-prevention plans, and connect to compassionate support.

Discovery Place is a non-profit recovery retreat for men that teaches 12-Step principles along with one-on-one counseling in comfortable settings throughout Nashville, Tennessee. Discovery Place provides 30, 60, and 90 day programs along with step down residential recovery. During recovery, “clients begin learning many of the skills required to build and sustain meaningful relationships through a wide variety of outside recovery meetings, social events, personal instruction from staff, and guidance from a host of dedicated professionals and volunteers.” A typical day starts out with morning breakfast followed by meditation or group meetings. After lunch, there are guided groups or meetings, and after dinner, clients fill their day with light chores or jobs. Free time is allowed each week, and clients can take advantage of the on-site gym, volleyball and basketball courts, fishing, frisbee golf course, or enjoy off-campus outings such as going to hockey games. Discovery Place sits on 17 acres in Burns, Tennessee. Clients will enjoy comfortable accommodations along with plenty of space and a lake for fishing. Discovery Place is ready and waiting to offer unique services, meeting the client where they're at in life.
