About Ebony House Mens Residential

Founded in 1973, Ebony House, Inc. is a nonprofit behavioral health provider in Phoenix offering a 14-bed Level II residential program for men 18 and older. The program delivers 24/7 care using individualized, evidence-based treatment—including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention—for substance use and co-occurring disorders. Eligible participants must be medically stable and compliant with any prescribed psychiatric medications.
Clients benefit from a therapeutic setting that promotes self-awareness, personal growth, and community reintegration. The ultimate goal of the program is total abstinence and healthy living. Licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services and credentialed by the Regional Behavioral Health Authority, Ebony House may offer services through the Substance Abuse Block Grant based on eligibility.
In addition to residential care, Ebony House provides outpatient programs for adults with mild to moderate substance use issues. Services include individual and group counseling, family support, and relapse prevention. Additional offerings include transitional housing, youth behavioral health programs, HIV/AIDS education, and targeted services for individuals with co-occurring disorders, judicial involvement, or from LGBTQ+ communities.
