About The Emily Program for Adolescents Anna Westin House St. Paul
The Emily Program has expanded its residential programming to St. Paul, Minnesota as part of an ongoing effort to provide high-quality, effective treatment for eating disorders. The Emily Program was created in memory of Anna Westin, a Chaska woman who died in 2000 after battling an eating disorder. Since then, The Emily Program has flourished into a comprehensive program offering day treatment, intensive outpatient services (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), residential care, and outpatient services. The Emily Program treats adults and adolescents with co-occurring mental health conditions. The Anna Westin House in St. Paul was designed to provide residential treatment specifically for adolescents and young adults. Clients will participate in group sessions, a variety of individual sessions, and therapeutic meals and snacks. Sessions include psychotherapy, family therapy, nutrition, art therapy, medical assessments and monitoring, psychiatric visits, and other services. Each client's schedule is personalized to meet their specific needs.
The Anna Westin House is nestled in the quiet neighborhood of St. Anthony Park. The state-of-the-art facility provides plenty of opportunity to practice recovery skills, shop, and relaxation while on the journey. Spacious common areas have WiFi, comfortable couches, and laundry facilities. Licensed teachers from Minnesota's Public Schools coordinate academic work with the residents’ schools to ensure education is still a priority while engaged in the program. The Emily Program is accredited by CARF and accepts most private insurance.
