About Fairview Treatment Center
Nestled in Bayou Vista near Morgan City, this residential program helps adults recover from chronic alcohol and drug use in a safe, structured setting. The center provides two levels of care: medically monitored detox and a 30-day inpatient rehab program. Anchored in the belief that recovery is always possible, the program serves high-risk individuals with round-the-clock medical support, compassionate care, and a strong commitment to long-term healing.
Every client receives a personalized plan built on evidence-based and holistic therapies. The clinical team uses motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based relapse prevention, individual counseling, and group therapy to support recovery from addiction and co-occurring mental health concerns like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief, anger, and depression. Weekly art therapy allows for creative reflection, while local clergy offer optional spiritual guidance to help clients reconnect with their inner strength and beliefs.
Men and women stay in gender-specific units with 10 detox and 43 rehab beds. Days follow a structured schedule of group sessions, individual therapy, rest, and recreation. Smoking is allowed in designated outdoor areas, and cessation support is available. Clients benefit from case management, family counseling, and aftercare planning to support their recovery journey beyond discharge. Staff welcome each client with respect, dignity, and a personalized approach that fosters lasting sobriety.
