Focus

This center treats substance use disorders and mental health conditions. You'll receive individualized care catered to your unique situation and diagnosis, learn practical skills for recovery, and make new connections in a restorative environment.

Set just west of Upper Manhattan, Forge Health of Paramus programming treats substance use and mental health issues. Therapy and counseling, outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient treatment (IOP), and medication-assisted treatment are the four treatment modalities provided by Forge Health of Paramus (MAT). Forge Health specializes in treating co-occurring conditions with a focus on trauma and PTSD. Clients can take advantage of natural light and opulent therapeutic settings at Forge Health of Paramus' outpatient facility. A qualified therapist oversees the program, which uses trauma-informed therapy and stress-management techniques based on mindfulness. Clients can take part in individual, group, psychoeducational, and couple's counseling sessions. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), art therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing are some additional therapeutic modalities used. With LegitScript certification, Forge Health of Paramus is able to accept both public and private insurance.
