About Friendly House
Friendly House is a non-profit, community-based treatment center that provides holistic addiction treatment for women only. Friendly House offers residential treatment along with sober living homes that provide a structured, supportive environment. They specialize in addiction treatment along with co-occurring mental health conditions and eating disorders.
“The program consists of 3 phases. Each phase corresponds to different activities, responsibilities, privileges, and objectives, and it has a typical duration of between one and two months depending on individual needs, circumstances, and progress with meeting treatment goals. Phase 1 emphasizes stabilization and includes recovery planning, development of early recovery skills, and community building. Phase 2 focuses on addressing the root cause of addiction and applying relapse prevention skills. During this phase, clients will be encouraged to start seeking employment, obtaining volunteer work, or enrolling in vocational training. Lastly, Phase 3 focuses on community reintegration and implementation of the skills learned during residential treatment.
