The Carbondale facility is nestled on a 14-acre, peaceful property surrounded by woods. This gender-specific environment was purposely built to provide an atmosphere where women feel safe and secure. At Gateway Carbondale, women have shared bedrooms with twin-sized beds and shared bathrooms. Inside the facility, clients can enjoy a lounge area, cafe, and indoor gymnasium with a basketball court. Outside, women can take advantage of the green space provided by enjoying walks or relaxing in the outdoor gazebo. Gateway Foundation in Carbondale is accredited by The Joint Commission and accepts most private insurance.
