About Good Friends, Inc.

Located on a quiet 150-acre farm in Morrisville, Good Friends, Inc. offers a licensed residential program for adult men with substance use disorders. In addition to this, priority populations—such as pregnant women affected by substance use, overdose survivors, veterans, and others, can also receive treatment through specialized resources and funding options. With a 25-bed capacity, the center’s mission is to guide all residents toward physical, emotional, and spiritual recovery, helping them return to the community with purpose, self-respect, and long-term stability.
Residents receive weekly individual and group therapy, peer-led groups, and structured relapse prevention services specific to their needs. Life skills education and regular community meetings help build responsibility, self-awareness, and healthy daily habits. The program also encourages employment as part of the recovery process, offering support in job searching and helping residents balance work with treatment goals and routines.
The home features comfortable shared living spaces, a large kitchen for meal service, and dedicated rooms for private counseling and group sessions. Leisure time includes access to the internet, TV, darts, and a small library of books and magazines. A structured daily schedule keeps residents engaged, blending therapy, peer connection, and meaningful routines that support focus and long-term recovery.
