Granite City Counseling Program of Catholic Charities

Located near Minnesota State Highway 15 in St. Cloud, this nonprofit outpatient clinic supports children, teens, and adults through individual, group, and family therapy. The team addresses concerns such as trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, grief, and self-harm with counseling adapted to each person’s needs and life stage.
Granite City Counseling applies cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care to help clients build emotional skills, improve relationships, and develop healthy coping strategies. Family psychoeducation and diagnostic assessments guide treatment planning and support progress across all age groups.
This center uses structured, curriculum-based programs like Domestic Violence Turning Points, which supports women navigating resistive or reactive violence; Women’s Anger Management and Self Esteem (WASE), which helps participants build insight and self-regulation; and the Domestic Abuse Intervention Program (DAIP) Group, a 24-week series guiding men in strengthening accountability and interpersonal awareness.
