Part of the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics, the Huntsman Mental Health Institute Downtown Behavioral Health Clinic (HMHI Downtown) provides outpatient services for individuals of all ages, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health and substance use concerns. Parking is available on-site, and bus lines 2 and 220 stop about a 5 minute walk away. HMHI Downtown offers assessments for substance use, including DUI evaluations, psychiatric assessments, and neuropsychological testing for conditions such as ADHD and autism. A multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and advanced practice nurses—provides medication management and psychotherapy. Specialized perinatal therapy and support are also available.
