About Intrepid Recovery
Intrepid Recovery specializes in the treatment of substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions. They offer medical detox residential care, partial hospitalization (PHP), outpatient care, and sober living aftercare in a comfortable setting just minutes from the beach. Both men and women can recover safely in a secure, relaxed environment. A knowledgeable staff is there to help individuals each step of the way. The residential program will depend profoundly on each client's individual needs. Treatment can include 12-Step facilitation, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and recreational therapy. Treatment will help clients gain healthy coping skills along with relief from mental compulsion, physical stabilization, and essential life skills. Intrepid Recovery also understands that recovery is important for both patients and their families. Therefore, they offer couples and family counseling.
Intrepid Recovery has created a home-like environment miles away from a sterile hospital setting. The apartment-like housing allows for a sense of independence and freedom. Each room is thoughtfully designed providing a tranquil atmosphere. A large common area is equipped with an oversized sofa and a big screen Smart TV with hours of HD television and movies. When not partaking in group therapy or clinical activities, clients can relax and enjoy the entertainment. Fridays are usually pizza and movie night. Healthy meals are prepared daily by on-site chefs. Intrepid Recovery is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts most private insurance.
