This behavioral health agency provides the Madison community with a wealth of mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment and prevention programs. Their services are divided into 4 different categories: clinical, community-based, emergency and medical. Within their clinical programs, they provide mental health and substance use assessment, individual and group counseling, as well as peer support services. If any client requires medication, they do have a in-house pharmacy where they offer prescribed psychiatric medications and medication-assisted substance use treatment.
Journey Mental Health Center offers a range of community services. Many of their programs involve a multidisciplinary team of professionals that aim to reduce the duration and frequency of psychiatric hospitalizations and legal problems within the community. To achieve that goal they offer case management, counseling, financial skills development, daily living assistance and more.
Their emergency services include connecting people with long-term treatment, offering empathetic understanding on their 24/7 crisis line and more.
