Focus

This center treats substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Your treatment plan addresses each condition at once with personalized, compassionate care for comprehensive healing.

Lasting Change provides residential and outpatient services for women aged 18 and older who are in the early stages of recovery from substance use. With over 35 years of experience in Washington County, Lasting Change provides a safe, supportive place to begin healing. Clients have access to sober living housing and are expected to attend at least seven community support meetings each week to maintain connection and focus during recovery. Each client receives an individualized care plan that includes weekly one-on-one counseling, group sessions, education, and life skills development. Family involvement and coordination with medical providers are included when appropriate, along with referrals to outside services. The program follows a whole-person approach, supporting emotional, social, physical, and spiritual well-being. The residential program typically lasts around 90 days, with extensions available based on clinical need. In addition to core treatment services, Lasting Change connects clients with community-based programs focused on employment readiness, financial literacy, music therapy, wellness, food safety, and women’s empowerment. These services are designed to support personal development and practical life skills during recovery.
