Lifeskills Delray Beach provides
outpatient care for adults with mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders. Each client receives a personalized treatment plan using evidence-based practices and a blend of traditional, integrative, and expressive therapies. The center treats anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis, and substance use, focusing on long-term healing and skill-building for daily life.
The program includes
partial hospitalization (PHP) and
intensive outpatient care (IOP). PHP offers structured treatment five days a week, with group sessions on mindfulness, healthy relationships, relapse prevention, and more. IOP meets 10 hours weekly over 8 or 12 weeks, continuing support in life skills and emotional regulation. Both levels help clients build independence while remaining supported in recovery.
Treatment is guided by six clinical pathways, assigned based on a licensed clinician’s assessment. Pathways include dialectical behavior therapy (DBT),
cognitive behavioral therapy (
CBT), substance use disorder, cognitive remediation therapy (CRT), trauma treatment, and metabolic fitness. The metabolic pathway includes culinary arts, fitness training, and nutrition, offering a holistic approach to recovery that supports both mental and physical wellness.
Evidence-Based Context: According to SAMHSA's National Survey on Drug Use and Health (2023), approximately 48.7 million Americans aged 12 or older had a substance use disorder in the past year. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) emphasizes that treatment programs combining behavioral therapy with medication-assisted approaches show the highest rates of sustained recovery. Facilities like Lifeskills Delray Beach Outpatient provide structured pathways to evidence-based care.
