The treatment approach at N.O.R.A. House is trauma-informed and dual-diagnosis, addressing both addiction and any underlying mental health conditions such as PTSD, depression, or anxiety. The program incorporates evidence-based therapies like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), along with holistic methods such as yoga and art therapy. This multifaceted approach aims to heal the mind, body, and spirit, fostering long-term recovery and overall wellness for veterans.
