Maple Moon treats addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions using personalized treatment plans. They blend evidence-based and holistic therapies to meet the needs of each client. As a family business run by staff with their own recovery journeys, Maple Moon brings a unique perspective and deep empathy to their approach. Maple Moon’s doctors, therapists, and support staff guide clients through medically monitored
detox,
residential treatment, and aftercare. They welcome just 6 clients at a time for small, tight-knit groups.
Maple Moon provides medically monitored detox in their safe residential home. A 24/7 staff and medical doctors oversee detox to keep clients physically and mentally comfortable. They prescribe comfort medications if needed. Maple Moon also provides restorative juices, massages, and other comfort amenities during detox, usually lasting 2-7 days.
Clients have a private or shared room during their stay at Maple Moon. They engage in daily therapies and structured activities. Small group therapy sizes and individual therapy allow clients to deeply connect to others, their therapist, and themselves. Maple Moon’s evidence-based therapies include
cognitive behavioral therapy (
CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (
DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR), and regular 12-Step meetings.
Maple Moon uses medical and psychological assessments to guide and craft unique treatment plans. These include holistic therapies like music therapy, meditation, yoga, massage therapy, and fitness. Maple Moon has an on-site gym, pool, and library. They teach life skills during treatment, helping clients return home with skills to succeed.
Evidence-Based Context: According to SAMHSA's National Survey on Drug Use and Health (2023), approximately 48.7 million Americans aged 12 or older had a substance use disorder in the past year. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) emphasizes that treatment programs combining behavioral therapy with medication-assisted approaches show the highest rates of sustained recovery. Facilities like Maple Moon Recovery provide structured pathways to evidence-based care.
