Located in Salt Lake City’s Sugarhouse neighborhood, this residential behavioral health hospital provides short-term psychiatric care for adults 55 and older facing emotional, mental, or behavioral changes. The center supports individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, paranoia, delusions, or dementia-related behaviors. Patients receive round the clock care in a structured, home-like setting.
Treatment is guided by individualized plans developed by licensed psychotherapists and psychiatric providers. Services include individual and group therapy, medication management, family education, and coordinated discharge planning. A multi-disciplinary care team works closely with each patient to stabilize symptoms, strengthen coping skills, and support long-term recovery through evidence-based and compassionate care.
Residents stay in a secure 14-bed unit designed to feel like home, with private and semi-private rooms, spacious surroundings, and a calming atmosphere. Patients are served three meals and an evening snack daily and take part in recreational activities that promote social connection and emotional wellness. Insurance options include Medicare, private plans, managed Medicare, and VA benefits—with insurance specialists available to help.
