About Maryland Addiction Recovery Center
Maryland Addiction Recovery Center, also known as MARC, offers clients outpatient treatment and transitional living with the goal of re-integrating into daily living. MARC provides a safe, therapeutic environment for clients who desire step down services after residential rehab. They offer flexible outpatients services in the morning and evening. All treatment is highly-individualized and caters to the specific needs of the client. “Maryland Addiction Recovery Center’s purpose is to, directly and indirectly, help individuals, families, and communities suffering from addiction in whatever way necessary to support sustainable, long-term recovery and allow patients the opportunity to achieve a purpose-driven, high quality of life.” They accomplish this by offering a wide array of evidence-based therapy, holistic care, and valuable life skills training. Treatment includes personalized plans, 12-Step philosophy, and yoga to heal the mind, body, and spirit. MARC also recognizes how crucial it is to have family members participate in the recovery process. They offer in person workshops as well as web-based sessions for families.
The Maryland Addiction Recovery Campus is conveniently located outside of Baltimore. The transitional homes are tastefully decorated with modern decor and comfortable living accommodations. Clients share a room with one other roommate and are expected to keep up with a list of basic chores throughout the day. 12-Step meetings are frequently held outside on the scenic campus. Clients can also enjoy an on-site gym and weekly yoga classes. Maryland Addiction Recovery Center is a well-rounded program for those wanting more support after residential rehab.
