About Micah House Residential
Micah House offers a faith-centered residential program in Minneapolis for adult men and women recovering from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Licensed by Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS), the program provides 24/7 supervision in a structured halfway house setting. Services are tailored to support both early recovery and long-term reintegration through relapse prevention, life skills, and spiritual growth.
The program combines traditional treatment with spiritual care, helping each person address addiction from the inside out. Clinical groups cover anger management, coping skills, psychoeducational mental health, and parenting. Participants receive counseling, attend 12-step meetings, and work with peer mentors to stay accountable. Recovery is approached holistically, supporting body, mind, and spirit.
Residents live in a supportive, supervised environment with access to group activities, sober events, and faith-based guidance. Programs include computer literacy training, job support, and community service projects like helping the homeless or assisting the elderly. The residence is located near public transit and community resources, helping individuals transition toward stability and purpose.
