Monarch Recovery is a women-only addiction and mental health recovery center offering a safe, nurturing environment where women reclaim control of their lives. Their philosophy emphasizes
holistic healing—addressing mind, body, and spirit—and they support pregnant and nursing mothers in their programs.
Monarch provides residential
sober living with structured accountability alongside therapeutic services that include individual and group counseling, trauma support, expressive therapies, mindfulness practices, and evidence-based methods like eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR),
cognitive behavioral therapy (
CBT), and 12-step integration. Their target population is women dealing with addiction and co-occurring mental health challenges, including those who are pregnant or nursing. In order to stay at Monarch, clients have to participate in their
outpatient program or relapse prevention class. In addition, they maintain affiliations with other sober living and recovery residences for men.
The facility combines secure housing, wellness programming, and community connection to foster healing. Their admissions process is streamlined and open 24/7, and they assist clients with insurance verification and recovery court services. If a client is interested, they have to participate in a 5 minute phone screening. Monarch Recovery also features aftercare support and transitional housing programs to assist in sustained sobriety beyond initial treatment.
Evidence-Based Context: According to SAMHSA's National Survey on Drug Use and Health (2023), approximately 48.7 million Americans aged 12 or older had a substance use disorder in the past year. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) emphasizes that treatment programs combining behavioral therapy with medication-assisted approaches show the highest rates of sustained recovery. Facilities like Monarch Recovery provide structured pathways to evidence-based care.
