Monterey County Behavioral Health Adult offers outpatient care for adults facing serious mental illness or substance use challenges. Through its Adult System of Care (ASOC), services are available to Medi-Cal eligible adults and underserved individuals across the county. Care is provided in-person, through telehealth, and in group settings—ensuring flexible support when it's needed most.
Patients receive a full range of services, starting with thorough assessments and personalized treatment planning. Support includes therapy, case management, medication services, crisis counseling, and mental health rehabilitation. Staff also connect clients to peer support, education, employment programs, and residential recovery services, guiding each individual toward lasting stability and independence.
