About NAMS
National Addiction Management Services (NAMS), a Singapore-based organization, offers a 2-week medical detox program, individual counseling for teenagers with behavioral problems, and specialized support groups for adults struggling with gambling. Medical detox is carried out at their Serenity Center. Two phases make up their inpatient program: a detox phase, and a planning phase for discharge preparation. NAMS' multidisciplinary, expert team includes psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, counselors, medical social workers, and occupational therapists. Their ReLive clinic caters to adolescents ages 13-18 struggling with behavioral issues, excessive gaming, or internet addiction. NAMS offers support through individual counseling, daily therapy, and group therapy.
Family Matters is one of NAMS' specialized services, offering individual counseling to family members who are living with an addict and struggling with feelings of stress and helplessness. A dedicated specialist will walk with the family through the process and offer counseling, advice, and education to help family members in need.
