The Ness Center

Nestled near the shores of Lake Pontchartrain in Mandeville, this outpatient clinic guides individuals through substance use and mental health recovery, treating a wide range of conditions from alcohol and opioid addiction to anxiety, depression, and various personality disorders. Services include individual, couples, and family therapy, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and telehealth.
The Ness Center focuses on helping clients understand their symptoms and develop long-term coping skills. Therapy explores past trauma, emotional triggers, and daily challenges through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and interpersonal approaches. For substance use disorders (SUD), this center offers medications like buprenorphine and methadone alongside behavioral therapy to reduce cravings and support recovery at every stage.
The Ness Center fosters an inclusive space for the LGBTQ+ community, offers tailored care for veterans and their families, and supports stronger relationships through couples and family therapy. It also equips first responders and community members with mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) training to build awareness, preparedness, and compassionate response within the wider local network.
