Newport Academy’s North Carolina locations treat teens 12-18 in gender specific homes. They strive to treat teens as a whole, addressing their mind, body, and spirit throughout recovery. Newport Academy treats mental health conditions and/or substance use. They involve family for wide-spread recovery and provide on-site academic support.
Patients begin treatment with an assessment to properly gauge their needs and treatment requirements. Newport Academy uses attachment-based family therapy (ABFT) to help rebuild familial relationships.
