Focus

This center primarily treats substance use disorders, helping you stabilize, create relapse-prevention plans, and connect to compassionate support.

This treatment program offers an intensive, structured, yet supportive blend of outpatient services combined with sober living to create a vibrant and unique treatment option for drug and alcohol addiction. They aim to strike a balance between traditional recovery, cutting edge therapies, medicine and joyful community connection. The program is highly influenced by the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. This unique gender-specific treatment program is run by clinicians and medical professionals who have been through recovery or are experts in treating addiction. Their program is intended for people who have co-occurring disorders. Throughout treatment at Oak Forest, patients begin to address trauma and how it has affected their lives. The clinicians hope that their patients can put an end to their cycle of suffering and start new by working through the 4 levels of care that they offer. The four levels of treatment start with level 0, which consists of two weeks of daily counseling sessions lasting four hours, house meetings, AA meetings, meetings with an AA sponsor, and the absence of guests, phones, and off-site passes. Level 1 is a minimum of 30 days, which includes the addition of group counseling and increased independence. The 2nd level is a minimum of 60 days and includes reflection on growth. The final level is a minimum of 90 days and includes 1-3 hours of treatment per day. In addition to the structure provided through this program, the residents participate in outdoor activities, use hiking trails on the property, have bonfires at night and bond with others in the game room.
