Designed to return the child to the family or community environment with the coping skills necessary to make safer and more productive choices in their lives, Palm Shores treatment uses cutting-edge safety measures while offering a comfortable, normative experience for patients. Treatment consists of evidence-based therapies in individual, family, and group sessions, as well as peer groups and expressive therapies. Lodging includes comfortable living spaces and extensive outdoor activity areas, including a large playground, a full-sized sports field, basketball and volleyball courts, and a kickball field. Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center takes most major Commercial Insurance as well as Florida Healthy Kids, Medicaid, Tricare and CHAMPVA.
