Adults aged 18 and older with a diagnosed mental illness receive integrated mental health, medical, and substance use treatment in a 24-hour supervised residential setting. Maghakian Place is a community-based alternative to hospitalization and supports co-occurring care under Minnesota DHS licensing. It stands out by blending high-level clinical support with a home-like atmosphere.
Clients work with a care team including social workers, nurses, therapists, and mental health practitioners to follow personalized treatment plans. Therapy includes integrated dual disorder treatment, individual and group sessions, recovery coaching, medication support, illness management and recovery, and family psychoeducation. These services equip clients with daily living and coping skills to regain independence.
Maghakian Place offers a 16-bed home for people of all genders, with case coordination, daily living skills training, and structured routines. Life‑skills groups teach budgeting, cooking, medication management, and job readiness. Staff are available 24/7. Residents benefit from a residential environment designed to promote stability, growth, and readiness for community living.
