Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of West Memphis

This provider helps kids and teens ages 6–17 strengthen emotional well-being through inpatient psychiatric care. The hospital supports children and adolescents working through trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional distress, and self-harming behaviors. Each unit offers 24-hour care, where staff promote safety and routine to guide healing.
Clinicians use trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and trust-based relational intervention (TBRI) to build emotional regulation and stability. Staff lead individual, group, and family sessions alongside recreation and expressive therapies, including art, dance, and music. A trained facility dog joins daily activities, helping youth feel at ease during therapeutic sessions.
Clients share most rooms, which include a private bathroom and shower. Children attend on-site school during the week and follow a structured schedule that includes therapy, medication support, nutritious meals, personal care routines, and outdoor activities. The campus includes gender-specific units and access to supervised recreation and therapy spaces.
