About Polara Health Connections Center
Strategically located right next to the Yavapai County Criminal Justice Center and Superior Court, Polara Health's 12-bed Connections Center helps adults facing substance use and mental health issues. They provide care to involuntary clients, clients entering on an emergency basis, and first responders. They facilitate court-ordered treatment for clients, including clients covered by Arizona Title 36 who pose a danger to themselves or others.
With residential care and a facility designed with the client's safety in mind, the center emphasizes whole-person care by blending evidence-based talk therapy and medical treatments in one accessible setting.
Polara uses proven approaches including individual and group counseling, peer support, psychiatric care, and case management. For addictions, they can administer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with Suboxone to reduce cravings and help clients engage with the therapy. For treatment-resistant conditions, they can also do deep transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). These therapies empower clients to manage symptoms, build coping skills, and improve overall quality of life.
To help clients get back on their feet, Polara Health's “Thrive” peer-led daytime program and vocational services promote re-entry into the workforce. This program trains clients on professional communication, interviewing skills, time management, resume and cover letter writing, and computer skills.
