Pyramid Healthcare seeks to make treatment affordable, accepting most private insurance and Medicaid.
Clients needing detox from alcohol and other substances receive medical monitoring and withdrawal management from nurses and doctors on staff, helping ensure a comfortable start to recovery. Pyramid Healthcare offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using Suboxone, Sublocade, and Vivitrol to help reduce substance cravings, especially for opiates and alcohol. Psychiatrists prescribe and manage medications for co-occurring mental health conditions.
Pyramid Hillside offers individual therapy, implementing moral reconation therapy (MRT), as well as discharge planning with a case manager. Clients can choose from a variety of educational tracks, including anger management, life skills like financial management and job preparation, relapse prevention, nutrition, health and wellness, and certified recovery specialist (CRS) care. Pyramid offers trauma-specific care using a male trauma recovery empowerment model (MTREM). The campus also features a Gay Straight Alliance group. Family members can visit as well as participate in family therapy with their loved ones. Pyramid offers yoga and meditation, art therapy, music therapy, gardening, and drumming as part of a holistic treatment model.
Located in the countryside northeast of Stroudsburg near the New Jersey border, Pyramid offers services to residents throughout Monroe County and the surrounding area. Clients and their families enjoy access to Highway 209 and I-80, with parking available at the building.
