About Pyramid Chambersburg Outpatient
Pyramid Chambersburg Outpatient treats adults and teens with substance use and mental health concerns. Pyramid Healthcare seeks to make treatment affordable, accepting most private insurance and Medicaid, as well as medical assistance and county funding. Pyramid offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP), meeting 3-4 hours per day, a traditional outpatient treatment program, and walk-in drug and alcohol assessments Mondays from 11 AM - 3 PM and Thursdays from 10 AM - 3 PM, helping place clients in the appropriate level of care. Pyramid Chambersburg is accessible for Spanish speakers, employing bi-lingual staff and offering LanguageLine translation services.
Pyramid Chambersburg Outpatient offers individual therapy using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as peer support from others who have gone through addiction. Clients engage in group therapy specific to their conditions, learning coping and relapse-prevention strategies, sharing their experience with others and learning from others in similar circumstances. Pyramid Chambersburg offers specialized groups for first-time offenders and adolescents, as well as specialized care for chronic opioid relapse. Clients and their loved ones participate in family or couples counseling with the aim of increasing understanding and communication.
Collaborating with patients, psychiatrists prescribe and manage medications for co-occurring mental health conditions. Pyramid offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults only implementing Suboxone, Revia, Vivitrol, and Sublocade to help clients with opiate and alcohol cravings.
Located near I-81, Highway 11, and Highway 30, Pyramid Chambersburg Outpatient provides convenient access to residents of Franklin County and the surrounding region.
