About Recovery Revelations

Against the beautiful backdrop of Big Bear Lake and the Angeles National Forest, Recovery Revelations offers detox, residential care, and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs for addiction and co-occurring disorders. Recovery Revelations uses methods designed to treat the mind, body, and spiritual health of patients, combining Eastern and Western therapies in a holistic approach to healing.
Individual, group, and family therapy approaches include both behavioral therapy (such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT)), medication-assisted therapy (MAT), eye-movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), and experiential therapies such as music therapy.
Physical fitness and nutrition counseling are a key component of treatment at Recovery Revelations, as exercise can boost mood, decrease stress, and stimulate the release of endorphins that previously were only being released from drug or alcohol use. Outings include hiking and snowboarding, in addition to an onsite physical fitness center.
Recovery Revelations incorporates 12-Step program fundamentals, including an emphasis on spiritual care.
