Clients can find support through proven modalities like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), strengths-based counseling, psychoeducation, expressive therapy, and creative outlets such as art, music, and recreational therapies. These methods are thoughtfully integrated into individual, group, or family sessions to promote healing on every level. Relapse prevention planning is incorporated into treatment to help clients maintain long-term recovery.
At Riverwoods Behavioral Health, shared accommodations offer both comfort and a built-in sense of community, helping clients feel supported throughout their stay. Their campus offers thoughtfully designed spaces for both recreation and renewal, including a fitness center, full-court gym, and a spacious courtyard with a gazebo. The campus offers a peaceful space for reflection, all while remaining conveniently close to nearby cities.
Riverwoods understands that recovery is on-going, and they work to equip clients with the tools necessary for lifelong healing. To support clients after discharge, the hospital is now offering aftercare group sessions to carefully guide clients through the reintegration process. These groups are offered at no cost and are open to current and former clients. Those following the 12-step model can also attend weekly on-site meetings.

Evidence-based therapies including 1-on-1 Counseling and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, typically 28 days.

Regular progress reviews, skill-building sessions, and adjustment of your treatment plan.

4. Aftercare Planning

Continued support, relapse prevention strategies, and connections to community resources for lasting recovery.
